3. Purchase
Check-in counter: Economic class passengers could reserve Extra Seats at the airport check-in counter on the departure date.
4. Terms & Conditions
a) Online check-in is not available for a passenger with extra seats. A passenger who has already checked in online wish to reserve any extra seats at the airport check-in counter, a cancellation of online check-in is required.
b) “Extra Seats” are not available in the first row, emergency exit rows, seats with a fixed arm and other non-available seats.
c) “Extra Seats” does not entitle a passenger to additional baggage allowance, meal, or other services.
d) The charge of the “Extra Seats” is based on the number of extra seats reserved and is subject to the currency fluctuation.
e) “Extra Seats” is non-refundable except for operational reasons by China Eastern Airlines/ Shanghai Airlines. If the passenger is assigned to another seat with the same value, higher value, or upper class, the charge of “Extra Seats” could not be refunded.
f) China Eastern Airlines/ Shanghai Airlines will not refund the charge of “Extra Seats” if the passenger gives up the reserved extra seats by personal reason.
g) Administration fee will not be charged for refund and change of “Extra Seats”.
h) “Extra Seats” is non-endorsement.
i) China Eastern Airlines reserve the right to adjust the amount of the fee and revise these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
j) If there is any discrepancy or inconsistency between the Chinese and English versions of these terms and conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
