When the prevention and control of the epidemic situation is normalized, and the resumption of work and production is going on, how should the civil aviation industry improve the passenger travel experience? China Eastern released its first "souvenir-style" aerial meal-"Edainty" series, which is exquisite, delicious, complete packaging and convenient for passengers to choose aboard. From May 3, the series will be served on China domestic flights. It will firstly appear on some flights departing from Shanghai, Beijing, Xi'an and Kunming.
For this airline meal series, China Eastern has newly designed a special "souvenir-style" lunch box and packaging bag to meet the passengers' current in-flight dining habits and dining needs. The meal will be packaged in advance and given out by the flight attendants in the air or placed in the cabin beforehand according to the different risk levels of the route.
This meal series was named "Edainty" because letter "E" means "Eastern" and combines with "dainty". " Edainty" will cover four types of breakfast, dinner, light meal, and dim sum meal. Based on different routes and cabins, varieties will be introduced, including individually packaged bottled beverages as well as fancy bread, Chinese and Western snacks , fruits, desserts.
