2．Infant Passenger (INF)

（1）Domestic flights: Passengers who enjoy discounted infant fares are not entitled to free baggage allowance. One fully folded lightweight stroller or baby stroller can be checked in for free.

（2）International and HK/MO/TW flights: An infant who purchases a non-occupied infant ticket is entitled to one free piece of checked baggage weighing not exceeding 10kg,with the volume (sum of three sides) not exceeding 115 cm. In addition, one fully folded lightweight stroller or baby stroller can be checked in for free.

3．Seafarer Passenger (SC)

The free baggage allowance of economy light is subject to the passenger ticket display. Two pieces of baggage can be checked free of charge per person in economy class (except economy light), with the sum of three sides of each piece of checked baggage not exceeding 158 cm and weight not exceeding 23 kg.（

4．Student Passenger (SD) 12+

The free baggage allowance of economy light is subject to the passenger ticket display. Two pieces of baggage can be checked free of charge per person in economy class (except economy light), the sum of three sides of each piece of checked baggage not exceeding 158 cm and weight not exceeding 23 kg.

5．Labor Passengers (DL) Chinese Nationality

The free baggage allowance of economy light is subject to the passenger ticket display. Two pieces of baggage can be checked free of charge per person in economy class (except economy light), the sum of three sides of each piece of checked baggage not exceeding 158 cm and weight not exceeding 23 kg.

6．Extra Seat (EXST)

Passengers with special body sizes have an extra seat by purchasing an additional ticket.

（1）Depending on the number of tickets purchased by the passenger, adjacent seats are provided, and a boarding pass is issued with the words “EXST” or “Extra Seat” indicated.

（2）The amount of free checked baggage for passengers occupying additional seats is calculated on the basis of the class of air travel purchased and the number of seats actually occupied.

7. Small animals

The weight of small animals （Except for assistance dogs brought by disabled people）and food carried by the passenger is not included in the passenger’s free baggage allowance and is charged at the rate of ordinary excess baggage. Only one small animal can be checked per passenger per flight.

8. Wheelchairs

Wheelchairs（including but not limited to wheelchairs） may only be transported free of charge as checked baggage and are not included in the passenger’s free baggage allowance.Wheelchairs are collected and transported as per the general provisions of baggage transportation.

II. Transportation of Dangerous Goods

1. Items refused to be transported

Dangerous goods, other than those permitted to be carried by passengers or transported as checked baggage in accordance with the Regulation on Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air (CCAR-276-R1) and the regulations of China Eastern Airlines, are not allowed to be carried on board or as checked baggage by passengers, including: a. explosives; b. gases; c. flammable liquids; d. flammable solids, spontaneously combustible substances and substances that emit flammable gases in contact with water; e. oxidizers and organic peroxides; f. toxic and infectious substances; g. radioactive substances; h. corrosive substances; and i. miscellaneous dangerous substances and articles, including environmental hazards;

2. Other dangerous goods that are not allowed to be transported as baggage under the regulations of China Eastern Airlines;

3. Guns, ammunition, military and police implements (including major parts and components) and replicas of the above items, except for those that comply with the regulations. Specific details are subject to the provisions of the carrier. If you have any questions, please contact 95530;

4. Controlled knives;

5. Baggage which, by reason of its packaging, shape, weight, size or volume, does not meet the conditions for carriage by baggage, or which, by its nature or packaging, is unsuitable for air transport (e.g. bags with alarm devices); articles which may be perishable or fragile in the course of air transport (unless prior request and consent have been given);

6. Articles of which the exit, entry into or transit through the country is prohibited by the laws, regulations or orders of the country concerned;

7. Electronic products or communication devices that have an impact on driving instruments in flight;

8. Live animals, wild animals, or/and animals with bizarre shapes or characteristics such as being prone to harm humans (e.g. snakes), except for small animals and service dogs that meet transport regulations;

9. Fresh, live and perishable articles with a distinct odor, and substances of a narcotic, offensive or other similar nature;

10. Articles that are easy to stain the aircraft;

11. Lithium-ion batteries or battery packs exceeding 160 Wh;

12. Articles capable of causing personal injury or posing a greater hazard to aviation safety and transport order;

13. Other articles prohibited from being transported as stipulated by national laws, administrative regulations and rules.

III. Excess Baggage Fees & Special Baggage

1. Excess baggage fees for domestic and regional flights

(1) Excess rates

Calculated at 1.5% of the published fare for a one-way direct flight in Economy Class for adult passengers.

(2) Calculation method of excess costs

Excess baggage fees = (total weight of checked baggage - applicable free baggage allowance) × (1.5% of the published fare for a one-way direct flight in Economy Class for adult passengers)

2. Excess baggage fees for flights to/from the USA and Canada

(1) Extra piece: CNY 1,300 per piece..

(2) Overweight baggage: One piece weighing more than 23 kg and less than 32 kg is charged CNY1,000; one piece weighing more than 32 kg and less than or equal to 45 kg is charged CNY 2,700; the weight of one piece of baggage for flights to/from Canada does not exceed 32 kg; for other flights to/from North America, the weight of one piece does not exceed 45 kg.

(3) Oversize baggage: One piece exceeding 158 cm and not exceeding 203 cm is charged CNY 1,000; one piece exceeding 203 cm is charged CNY 2,700, which shall be subject to the approval of China Eastern Airlines.
